         main profession would be classified as a botanical illustrator. Others also apply two professions and classify her as a Botanical and Natural History Artist. It is said that she is one of the
best at what she does. Her works have relation with science and art movements. She is best known
for her illustrations of plants and insects acquired from her trips to the north eastern coast of
South America. It has been 300 years since her death. Many Museums are celebrating the 300th
anniversary of her death in her honor. She also has many exhibitions in her name. Her works
mostly reflected the 17th and 18th century society. Her works are also very influential to women artists.
